Motivation - What makes this website special?

And now about this site-speciality:
Eventhough several attempts have been made, in the past, to explain the logic underlying financial derivatives, I would say all these attempts follow the same tools that historians have been using from several centuries in the past. These include some written material (and in our case, with a good dosage of complicated greek-word laden formulae) and try to conceptualize some very practical thoughts into lengthy theoretical passages. As you may have noticed, most of the latest online websites and web-based tools are also mere extensions of this reading-and-understanding philosophy.

I think there is a better way to drive home ideas - practical matters have to be dealt with practically.. You cannot learn driving a car, by reading 1000s of how-to pages, but you do that, by just driving..

I plan on making almost every page interactive.

In my opinion, the best way to understand a concept is by interaction.
By navigating through charts, analyzing trade-strategies on TradePad, and stressing their test-Portfolios under varied scenarios, I am hoping that my users will be able to employ unconventional skill-sets and novel thoughts.
Put simply, I want to provide that sand-box type of a platform for Financial Practioners, which currently is not available easily.
